Engagement ring goes missing during Yankee Stadium proposal

NEW YORK (UPI) -- A couple will forever have a unique engagement story after their engagement ring briefly disappeared during a proposal at a New York Yankees game.
Yankee fan Andrew planned to propose to his girlfriend Heather during the Wednesday game against the Boston Red Sox, but when he opened the box, the ring was nowhere to be found.
"I thought it was just going to be a simple kneel down and pop it open and ask her but it instantly just dropped out and I was so scared," Andrew said.
Andrew frantically looked around the area and fans in the area turned on their cellphone lights to help search for the missing ring.
The ring was eventually found in a coat at the couple's feet as Heather ultimately accepted the proposal.
