Massive alligator gar gets 'revenge' on fisherman with face slap

ELKHART, Texas (UPI) -- A Texas fishing charter boat captain captured video of a massive alligator gar slapping a fisherman in the face while posing for a photo.
Capt. Bubba Bedre posted a video to Facebook showing the alligator gar "attacking the boat" while on the end of a fisherman's line.
Bedre said the gar "gets revenge" after being caught, and an extended version of the video shows the fish's vengeance.
The video shows two of the fishermen out with Bedre posing in the water while holding the alligator gar after it was caught.
The gar thrashes its tail, catching one of the men directly in the face and knocking him backward.
