VIDEO: 'OctoPossum' takes her babies for a stroll in New York

NEW YORK (UPI) -- A New York couple captured video of a mother opossum they dubbed "OctoPossum" in honor of the eight babies clinging to her fur.
Gene Gray and Heewon Lee Gray said they opened their door to enjoy the pleasant Tuesday weather at their Astoria, Queens, apartment when they spotted the mother transporting her joeys.
"I guess the opossum thought it was a nice day as well and decided to take the kids out for a walk," Gray told WABC-TV. I grabbed my iPhone and after fumbling was finally able to capture the footage.
The couple, who dubbed the mother "OctoPossum" in honor of her eight babies, posted their video to YouTube.
"Poor OctoPossum looked wiped out, but the little ones held on tight," Gene Gray said.
