VIDEO: Rescued wombat helps out with sanctuary's laundry

GUNDAROO, Australia (UPI) -- An Australian wombat sanctuary shared video of a particularly helpful rescued animal lending a hand by emptying a laundry machine.
The video, posted to Facebook by the Sleepy Burrows Wombat Sanctuary, shows a wombat named Tonka doing some "quality control" on the laundry.
The curious creature pulls the clothes out of the machine before taking a peek inside.
Tonka then examines the clothes he tossed onto the floor before trying to get into the second machine, which is closed.
"Everything is always vetted and checked when a new arrival goes for a walk," the sanctuary said in the Facebook post.
