Buffalo shoves tongue through open car window at Missouri park

STRAFFORD, Mo. (UPI) -- A family visiting Missouri's Wild Animal Safari park recorded their encounter with a friendly buffalo who stuck his face -- and his tongue -- inside their car.
The video shows the family in their car at the Wild Animal Safari park in Strafford when a wandering buffalo catches sight of the vehicle and comes over to investigate.
"Here comes the buffalo!" a family member says.
The buffalo walks up to a window where two girls are sitting and shoves his face inside the car.
The buffalo licks one of the girls' hands, then sticks his tongue out inside the car to give the air a taste.
The animal moves on to a backseat window, where he is given a treat.
The family feeds the happy buffalo numerous treats before wandering away.
"How many close encounters do you get with a bison?" a family member reflects.
