SEATTLE (UPI) -- The Seattle Police Department said 10 escaped goats seen chasing "the human kind" of kids were corralled after a brief hoof chase.

Police said they responded shortly after 1:15 p.m. Thursday to a report of 10 escaped goats in the Beacon Hill neighborhood "chasing a group of kids (the human kind)."

"Officers arrived, herded the goats back into a pen and radioed for animal control officers," the department said.

The department's Twitter account said residents had "herd right" about the brief hoof chase and video of the goats' escape would be available on the police blotter at some point Friday, capping off the tweet with #GoatYOLO.

"For the record, they love kids," she tweeted, along with a picture of the goats playing with a child.
