New Jersey dad builds luge track in yard

CRANFORD, N.J. (UPI) -- A New Jersey dad is training the next generation of Olympians with a 70-foot luge track he constructed from snow and ice in his yard.
Joseph Colangelo, 29, built the luge track over the course of several weeks in his Cranford yard, slowly increasing the size of the track as snow continued to fall.
"There were those who thought I was crazy for shoveling my yard," Colangelo wrote in a Reddit post. They may have been right but at least now there's a sweet ride on our property. Also, I have sprayed down the track with water every day for the past few weeks.
The YouTube video shows Colangelo's two kids take runs on the luge track and also features the father taking his own ride with his GoPro on board.
