Food fight! Kids post bad lunches at #ThanksMichelleObama

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- Few things make teenagers angrier, apparently, than bland, healthy, sometimes disgusting lunches, and they're letting everyone know about it on Twitter.

Students across America are snapping cell-phone photos of their school lunches and posting them at #ThanksMichelleObama, clearly blaming the First Lady for what they consider the dreck in front of their faces in their school cafeteria.

They're not happy their new and approved lunches are following food guidelines from the USDA championed by the First Lady.

The postings are getting lots of appreciative gross-out replies back, like: "Yuck a doodle doo."

The USDA guidelines implemented over the last few years include limits on calories, fat, sugar, and sodium for all food and drinks sold during the school day for 100,000 schools across the country.

The First Lady said recently that she would "fight until the bitter end to make sure that every kid in this country continues to have the best nutrition that they can have."
