Hawk attacks drone to defend its territory

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (UPI) -- A man at Magazine Beach Park in Cambridge, Mass., was recently flying his Phantom FC40 quadcopter drone with a camera attached and caught a video of a hawk attacking the drone.

Christopher Schmidt, who was operating the drone, reports the quadcopter and the hawk both came out of the situation just fine. Aside from birds, bees have also been known to attack these quadcopters. Birds can be killed by quadcopters, so operators have to be careful how close they fly to them.
