RIDGE, N.Y. (UPI) -- The FBI said a New York man arrested on child porn charges admitted to investigators he likes "to have sex with stuffed animals."

The FBI said Christopher Grief, 25, was arrested at the Ridge, N.Y., home he shares with his parents Sept. 24 after he was identified as "Mookie," a poster at online board Website 21 who allegedly distributed child pornography and led discussions on the site about sexually abusing small children.

The criminal complaint said Grief was found to have numerous files containing child pornography on his computer.

Grief also allegedly told investigators he is sexually interested in young children and told them he has an interest in torturing kids. He told them he made a video where he tortured and mutilated a rat.

"He also liked to have sex with stuffed animals," FBI agent Danielle Messineo said wrote in the criminal complaint.

Grief was ordered held without bail and Magistrate Kathleen Tomlinson ordered him to undergo a mental evaluation.

The practice of committing sex acts with a stuffed animal is informally known online as "plushophilia" or plushie, but psychologist N.G. Berrill said the practice has no official designation. Berrill said the practice falls under the umbrella of disorders involving sex with inanimate objects.
