Espanola cop says he saw ghost on surveillance video

ESPANOLA, N.M. (UPI) -- Espanola Police Officer Karl Romero was watching surveillance video on Sept. 20 when he spotted a ghost-like figure moving through the parking lot.
The parking lot was behind a secure gate that was locked for the night.
"At first I thought it was a fly, a moth, and then I saw the legs and it was a human," Romero told KOAT.
He said the encounter is not unique at the New Mexico police station where other officers have seen paranormal activity. The shadowy figure is hard to discern and raises eyebrows among skeptics.
"I do believe in ghosts -- I don't know [what exactly was on the video], but we've had some unsolved murders in the area," he said.
