Bees escape truck, swarm cars on Interstate 4
Published in Weird News
ORLANDO, Fla. (UPI) -- Motorists driving behind a leaky bee truck on a stretch of Florida interstate had to roll up their windows to keep the insects out of their cars.
Video footage taken of the truckload of bees on Interstate 4 in the Orlando area shows bees escaping from the truck by the thousands and motorists rolling up their windows to prevent the swarming insects from invading their vehicles, WKMG-TV reported.
The truck is from a company based in Maine. Regulations allow bees to be transported via truck at designated times of the year with special out-of-state shipping permits.
