LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- A former dictator isn't too pleased with the way that he was portrayed in a popular video game, so he's getting even.

Instead of rolling out a militia, ex-Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega is taking the makers of "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" to court.

Noriega filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court against the Activision Blizzard video game company on Tuesday.

In the suit, he alleges that the game harmed his reputation by depicting him "as a kidnapper, murderer and enemy of the state," CNN reported.

The 80-year-old is imprisoned in Panama after being convicted of drug trafficking, money laundering and killing political opponents.

Since the game used his name and likeness, Noriega, wants a piece of the more than $1 billion profits.

"Plaintiff was portrayed as an antagonist as the culprit of numerous fictional heinous crimes, creating the false impression that defendants are authorized to use plaintiff's image and likeness," according to the suit.
