Easter service at SeaWorld involves Jesus Christ, Shamu and Tim Tebow

ORLANDO, Fla. (UPI) -- People who went to SeaWorld Orlando's Bayside Stadium on Sunday for an Easter service didn't get to see Jesus Chirst, or the other man they were hoping for, Tim Tebow.

More than 7,000 people went to SeaWorld on Sunday morning hoping that the former Florida Gator quarterback might make an appearance because his parents, Bob and Pam Tebow, were the scheduled speakers.

The former Heisman-winner never showed, so attendees had to settle for Shamu.

"As Timmy entered the world, the doctor said, 'This is a miracle baby,'" Pam Tebow said during her remarks. You have to love the people in your life just as God loves us, just as Christ loves us and gave his life.

This was the 37th year that SeaWorld has held free Easter services.
