White to Play

Here’s a quick game in the Budapest Defense. So quick, in fact, that Black resigned in this position after White’s next move.

Solution:

The game, Zak-Mieses, 1944, went 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e5 3.dxe5 Ne4 4.a3 Qh4 5.g3 Qh5 6.Nf3 Nc6 7.Qc2 Qf5 8.Nbd2 Nxg3 (See Diagram) and now White played 9.e4 and it’s over. Black loses a piece and the game.
