Veresov-Fine, Correspondence, 1930: 1.Nf3 d5 2.e4 d4 3.Bc4 c5 4.d3 h6 (see diagram) 5.Bxf7+ Kxf7 6.Ne5+ Kf6 [6...Ke6 7.Qf3 Qe8 (7...Kxe5 8.Bf4+ Ke6 9.Bc7 Qxc7 10.Qf5+ Kd6 11.Qd5#) 8.Qf5+ Kd6 9.Nf7+ Kc7 10.Bf4+ Kb6 11.Qg6+ Nc6 12.Nxh8]7.Qh5 g5 [7...Ke6 8.Na3 Bd7 9.Nac4 Qa5+ 10.Bd2 g5 (10...Nf6 11.Qf5#) 11.Qf7#] 8.Qg6+ Kxe5 9.f4+ gxf4 10.Bxf4+ Kxf4 11.Qg3#
