You don’t have to be Magnus Carlson to figure out that White is winning here, but what is the best continuation to finish Black off?


- Solution: If you decided on 1.Qh5+ g6 2.Nxg6, you would have been embarrassed by 2…Qxh5. If you tried 1.Rc8, thinking it was mate, you should have noticed the rook was pinned and couldn’t move. Loginov-Sideifzade, 1983, went one more move and Black Resigned: 1.Qa4!!
