Grandmaster Jacques Mieses polished off his opponent in this position as part of a simultaneous exhibition. Pretty good for whizzing by a lot of boards one at a time and finding great moves.

- Solution: The first move might be surprising, but the second move by White was a stunner: 1.g4+ fxg3 [1...Kh4 2.Kh2 Qe5 3.Rxh6#] 2.Rh4+ gxh4 [2...Kxh4 3.Rxh6#]3.Rb5+, which wins the queen and lets the pawn promote.
