2 police dogs die in locked cruiser
The cruiser was parked outside Sherwood Lodge, headquarters of the Nottinghamshire Police in Nottingham, The Daily Mail reported Thursday. The county police kennels were nearby.
The incident is also being investigated by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The group's experts say that on the hottest day of the summer so far, when the temperature reached 84 degrees, it could have been 116 inside the car.
Officers left flowers in the car park Thursday in memory of the two dogs, which had been donated to the Nottinghamshire Police.
"This has caused understandable upset and shock to all concerned," Chief Superintendent Ak Khan said. "We are taking the matter very seriously and we can understand the upset that this has caused. We will certainly learn any lessons and make sure this never happens again."

Death of any Dogs like this !
I think the person or persons should be kicked out of the police and charges to be take agaist them for what they have done to these poor dogs they did not deserve to die that way, when they would have done anything to keep the officer safe they would have got in the way of anything for them and to be left like that. There is no excuses for that they have done to them. I have two of the same dogs & no way would I have done anything like that to them, they are very good dogs to have if looked after the right way. It made me cry for them & I am 48 year old man thining of the pain they were in.

Death of Dogs
The police officer who caused the death of these two dogs should be sacked from his job. He/she is not a responsible person and does not deserve his/her job. The officer should also be made to pay for any costs incurred and I sincerely hope that the person feels very bad about their deaths and that he/she will never forget that they committed Murder. I do hope that a prosecution is brought against them.
