Minister says tattoo gays with warning
The Rev. Peter Mullen made the suggestion in a posting on a blog where he called homosexuality "clearly unnatural, a perversion" and "a cause of fatal disease," The Daily Telegraph reported Monday.
The newspaper said Mullen also posted a poem about the blessing of two gay priests that concludes: "The new Church of England embraces diversity, A fresh modulation on ancient perversity."
The bishop of London has condemned Mullen's writings.
"While clergy are entitled to their own personal views, we recognize that the content of this text is highly offensive and is in no way reflective of the views of the Diocese of London," a spokesman said.
Church officials have told Mullen he could face disciplinary action.

You can't tattoo people for what they are, where would it end? The Jews, (again)?, Prisoners,(again, remember Auschwitz)? A stupid comment from an idiot. We are already well on the way to an Orwellian nightmare fascist society. People like this make it worse. If there is any tattooing to be done, perhaps the Rev Mullen should have one warning people "I am a bigot!".

There are plenty of people out there carrying all sorts of diseases, many sexually transmitted, and he wants to tatoo ONLY the Gays? How about promiscuous people? How about I.V. drug users? Perhaps Rev. Mullen needs to have some sort of disclaimer tatooed on him!

If they want to tattoo anyone it's paedophiles and heroin addicts, these perverts represent a much greater danger to society than do gays who really don't need any identifying because they are already recognisable for what they are.

That has to be the most horrible, discriminatory thing I've ever heard. And this from a man of God. As a fellow human being he is entitled to his opinion, but as a member of a clergy he needs to brush up on his, "What would Jesus do" philosophy.
