April-May 2007: Journey up the James

Follow the replica Godspeed as it retraces its journey up the James River. The voyage begins with a re-enactment at Cape Henry in Virginia Beach, and continues through to Hampton, Newport News, Claremont, Jamestown, Richmond, and Henricus.

April 27, 2007-April 2008: The World of 1607
Jamestown Settlement Museum, Williamsburg, VA
View artifacts from around the world such as a 15th-century copy of the Magna Carta, a 16th-century ivory carving, and more. Collections from around the world will be on display at this special exhibition, which aims to place the Jamestown Settlement of 1607 in a more global context.

May 11-13, 2007: America's Anniversary Weekend
Historic Jamestowne, Jamestown Settlement & Anniversary Park
Three days of music, history and fun, featuring the Richmond and Virginia Symphony Orchestras, a 1607-member chorale, fireworks, and a contemporary music concert.

National Mall, Washington, D.C.
Nearly 120 performers, musicians, artists, cooks, farmers, and more gather together to help you experience the diversity that makes up Virginia's culture. This annual festival is attended by more than 1 million people every year.
