Albertus Maximus drew off in the stretch to win Monday's $80,000 Windy Sands Handicap by 2 1/4 lengths over Add Heat. Perfect Drift finished third. Albertus Maximus, a 4-year-old, Kentucky-bred colt by Albert the Great, ran the 1 mile on the all-weather track in 1:35.37 for Rafael Bejarano.
