NFL: Chicago 16, Cleveland 10

CLEVELAND (UPI) -- A 19-yard scoring pass by Rex Grossman and three field goals from Robbie Gould Thursday rallied Chicago to a 16-10 victory over Cleveland.

Both teams were looking for their first exhibition win and Chicago got it after spotting the Browns to a 10-point lead.

Cleveland, beset by several key injuries this summer, got 92 passing yards out of third-string quarterback Ken Dorsey. Rookie Brady Quinn could not direct the Browns to any points in the second half.

Grossman hit Brandon Rideau with a 19-yard throw that cut the Bears' deficit to three points and Gould tied it as time ran out in the first half with a 48-yard field goal. He added kicks of 29 and 46 yards in the second half.

Grossman is expected to back up Kyle Orton, who did not play.

Chicago (1-3) will start the season at Indianapolis in a Sunday night game and Cleveland (0-4) will play host to Dallas.
