MLB: Milwaukee 11, Pittsburgh 6

MILWAUKEE (UPI) -- J.J. Hardy homered twice and the Milwaukee Brewers belted 12 extra-base hits Sunday in an 11-6 rout of Pittsburgh.

Hardy also had a double and finished with four RBI to lead the Brewers to a series sweep and their fifth win in six games.

Ryan Braun added a solo homer, Bill Hall drove in three runs and Corey Hart had two RBI for Milwaukee.

Mitch Stetter (2-1), pitching two scoreless innings in relief of starter Jeff Suppan, was the winner.

Adam LaRoche smacked a two-run homer and Jason Bay hit a solo shot for the Pirates, who have lost five of seven contests.

Reliever Denny Bautista (1-2) allowed four runs in one inning and took the loss for Pittsburgh.
