Blond boy identified as future terrorist
The youth came to the attention of authorities after he sent videos of terrorists beheading Westerners to his classmates, The Telegraph reported Wednesday.
"That was bad enough but he also has an unnatural interest in guns and weapons," Norman Bettison, chief constable of West Yorkshire, told The Telegraph.
Bettison said the boy spoke openly of his wish to be a sniper and told authorities he wondered what it would be like to kill someone.
"He is being influenced and intoxicated by the imagery and appeal of jihadist and other Internet violence," Bettison said.
The boy, who arrived in Britain as an asylum seeker in 2005, allegedly assisted two youths in the rape of his sister but was never prosecuted, police revealed.
He is among 120 people who police are dealing with as part of a new anti-terrorism effort aimed at al-Qaida-inspired youths, The Telegraph said.
