Minister launches drive-in church
The Rev. Norman Markle of New Hope Methodist Church in Marietta, Ga., says he has been pondering the idea of a drive-in church for a couple of years, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Monday.
Markle sees drive-in spirituality as the logical next step for people who eat in their cars and conduct business by cell phone.
To launch his new service, Markle purchased a low-powered AM transmitter and posted signs along Cobb Parkway urging people to "Worship in Your Car Just as You Are."
"I thought we could get some new people to come out and see what the word of God is on Sunday," Markle told the newspaper.
About a dozen cars showed up for the first service on Sunday but Markle says he is optimistic the number will increase, the Journal-Constitution reported.

Drine in Church
yuh know, this is a cool idea!! Great way to evangelise and get rid of the excuse "i don't have anything to wear to church!"...
May the lord bless you wit even more radical and revolutionary ideas...
And i hope it preaches the truth... i'd hate for them to be driving into a haven of lies!!
Geemenee, don't worry, God can use anything.. and i think that once these people get convicted, they'sd make an effort to attend a meeting other than a Sunday morning service and try to meet their pastor at least once, even for advice or something.. let the Holy Spirit do the work... God can use ANYTHING... remember that

Drive through church
I think it is an idea worth pondering about. A word of caution in that we should not forsake the meeting of the breathren and we congregate together as the Body of Christ and Unite our hearts in worshipping the Father. In today's culture we have adopted a drive up mentality in our faith and many Christians are caught up in the Microwave age of fast food and fast blessings. Let us not conform to the world, but be transformed. I have no problem with the drive-up notion of church as long as we do not water down the fundamentals of the faith and if this method allows men and women to receive the message of salvation - all the better. Never loose the true meaning of gathering together to worship the One and Only God of Israel who sent His only begotten Son for our redemption.
