Grateful Dead may perform gig for Obama
Hart, Bob Weir and Phil Lesh previously reunited for a February fundraiser for the Democratic Illinois senator in San Francisco.
The Chicago Sun-Times quoted Hart as saying the trio has exchanged "a few friendly e-mails" about possibly playing together again along the campaign trail, however, nothing firm has been set.
"We're not making plans, but I think we stand at the ready to be of service," Hart said. "We're all deeply into this, into Barack Obama and the thought of taking this country back in some shape or form, what's left of it -- it's probably one thing we can all agree on! So, you bet, I would spend a night with my brothers for that any time, any place."

Being of the Woodstock gen I thought they had all died since not one peep was heard when the crazy warmongers in the Bush camp were digging the trenches of war and getting the old body bags ready again for damnation.....
so where were the "be the first one on your block to have your boy come home in a box" revolution then hey?? Adding to the pile of woes it's 1, 2, 3, 4 God doesn't want you using food He created for mankind to eat as fuel to satisfy our energy greed and glut and so He has drowned all the corn instead of having us waste it on experiments or instead of burying it to keep it's price up..........I don't know if Barak is the answer (could he be related to Ehud Barak too??) but he really should choose a decent v.p and I would strongly rec. either Gore or Kerry who are both very smart decent people with a sense of morality and ethics which is more than one can say for the republican candidate a dem turned rep turned God knows what now, just look at the wierdos who keep popping up on his stage..........hello is anyone watching.......

Why? He has stacks and stacks and piles and piles of surplus funds! Greatful Dead needs to have a benefit concert to bail out us starving retirees who can't afford food and medicine and gasoline.
