McCain's beer industry ties questioned
As a U.S. senator, McCain, R-Ariz., has recused himself from voting on issues involving alcohol regulation because his wife and her family control Hensley & Co. of Phoenix, one of the nation's biggest beer wholesaling operations. But that wouldn't be an option for him as president, the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday.
"You can't run a beer company out of the White House," Samuel Popkin, a political science professor at the University of California San Diego told the Times. "You can't run any company from the White House. McCain is leaving a live hand grenade on the table, a major embarrassment."
Records show Hensley & Co. is major player in the National Beer Wholesalers Association, which operates the nation's seventh-largest political action committee and has gone up against activists on a hotly debated proposal to require alcohol content labeling on beer.
The McCain campaign issued a statement to the Times, saying "any decisions going forward will be made when John McCain wins the election and takes office, and not before."

I don't even know why we are going to have an election in November, the media has already decided that Obama is their pick. Since only 40% or so, votes; the media will drum it's song until the democrates sing it. Unless something happens,McCain might as well go home now.Think about it! Obama has twice the money, the youth , the polish, the lack of record to pick apart, popular ideas with vague ways or no way at all to pay for them, the media on his side, what else does he need? The " OLD BOY NETWORK " wins again. The DNC : by giving MI and FL only 1/2 votes and extra ones to Obama, Hillary bit the dust! Now on to McCain. Out spend him, steal other's ideas and pass them off as your's, make them sound new ,exciting, and the answers to each of the country's problems. Just how smooth and polished can you get? Short of a misque it's already over!

Every time a left wing but opens his mouth the stupidity flows forth. To say that President Bush, or any President regardless of there party affiliation, controls the price of gas is to show how little you actually know. And once again if they would actually bother to study the problem then you may actually discover that the Democrats had more to do with the problem than anyone. Since we refuse to drill for the Oil we have in this Country or off our shores we are at the mercy of OPEC. They control the prices along with supply and demand. That may be too hard for you to understand as you can not clearly think for yourself, only what your figure heads tell you. I see that as one of the major differences between Democrats and Republicans, Dems can only think what they are told as Republicans read and study the problem for themselves.

We saw what happens when an indusrty controls a president, $4 a gallon for gas. What are we in store for should McSame win? Maybe, alcohol sold to children or the drunk driving legal limit raised to 2.0.
