I think Opal needs a bit of "spice" in her life. Apparently, Earl spends more time with Nelson than her. Maybe she should get herself a parrot and teach it phrases like, "Earl, get your feet off the coffee table." And, "Earl, you sure are getting bald in your old age." Perhaps something like, "For pete's sake, Earl, remember to put FRESH water in the glass before you put your teeth in it tonight."
