Be a friend that a friend would like to have! Everyone is a little nervous on the first day, but there's probably someone more nervous than you! Step outside of your own nervousness to help someone else.

Another idea - bring a 'Back-to-School' autograph book with scented markers! It will be fun to share and a fun way to get to know one another! Offer the new kids a chance to participate first!
