HONOLULU (UPI) -- Tesoro Corp.'s 94,000 barrel-per-day Hawaiian
refinery has resumed operations that were halted after Sunday's
earthquake.
The facility, approximately 22 miles west of Honolulu, was making
gasoline, diesel and jet fuel Thursday, and full production was
expected to be reached by this weekend, Tesoro said in a news release.
Tesoro operates six refineries in the western United States with a
combined crude oil capacity of more than 560,000 barrels per day and
operates more than 450 branded retail stations in the United States.
