You think is bizarre? Well... it is not so. I saw last year in a S.America food court an "Avocado with cricket bellies" ice cream
actually, it's true!! Saw it on Travel channel..that Bizarre Food guy (sorry, name escapes me). Some guy actually made bacon icecream.. the host loved it, but considering what he eats, doesn't surprise me. I agree, tho...not for ice cream.
