Organize your Children's Toys
Tip submitted by Crystal Kite of Lubbock, Texas
Ease the responsibility of clean up by sorting all your child’s toys
into bins and make a large and colorful calendar that indicates what
toys will be played with that day.
For example: cars on Mondays, blocks on Tuesdays, trains on Wednesdays, etc.
This way the child can enjoy more of his/her toys and clean up is easier. When your kids are finished playing, the toys get put back into their bin until their day comes around again the following week.
This prevents your kids from experiencing toy burnout, while also protecting against parent burnout from continually cleaning up the hordes of toys the kids bring out. Plus, on days that you know your child has a routinely limited play time, you can schedule toys that are easier to clean up and involve less 'prep' time.
