Shopping for Healthy Lunches
Tip submitted by Valerie Walker of Destination Organized
Have your kids write out a lunch menu for the week and make a grocery
list out of it. Offer one reasonable item of their choice for every
two healthy items that you choose (and that they will eat).
Buy or make dried fruit. Pick a favorite salad dressing, like Ranch to send in to dip carrot sticks in!
Let them pick! It's a little more work but will be less wasted food and money!
