4/9/2007 -- Golf enthusiasts looking to improve their game can
now find simple -- yet innovative -- advice in the "Master Strokes"
illustrations, which are now featured at ArcaMax Publishing.
"Master Strokes" ( http://www.arcamax.com/masterstrokes/ ), a popular
and long-running feature (similar to a one-panel comic), offers tips
and techniques from some of the top golf instructors in the United
States. The straightforward, easy-to-follow advice is helpful to
golfers of all levels.
ArcaMax, a family-friendly publisher of news and features, is adding a
wider variety of sports content, according to ArcaMax CEO Scott Wolf.
ArcaMax currently has 70 free email publications in several other
channels. Sports content is relatively new to readers but growing in
interest.
Plus -- these golf tips are just plain fun to try, Wolf added.
"Golfers are always trying to learn a new trick or two, and we're here
to help," Wolf said. "We hope the golfers and other sports fans will
enjoy the expanded line-up of content." Master Strokes is sent out
each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Breaking sports headlines,
http://www.arcamax.com/sports , are sent out twice a day each weekday
and once a day on weekends.
In "Master Stokes," tips are published twice a week that will benefit
golfers of every level and handicap. A "senior tip" is sent out once
a week, with advice specially tailored to more mature golfers.
For the simple dinners that almost always follow 18 holes, ArcaMax has
another instructional cartoon -- "Cheap Thrills Cuisine." Cheap
Thrills ( http://www.arcamax.com/cheapthrillscuisine ), is sent every
Saturday. It teaches how to cook simple meals with detailed artwork
and step-by-step instructions.
"This type of recipe fun to read because it's not all just about
reading – you actually get to see some of the techniques performed,"
Wolf said.
"Cheap Thrills Cuisine" is part of ArcaMax's daily Recipes bundle.
Other available ezines include Gardening, Parents, Garfield, Bible
Verses, and more than 700 free books by e-mail.
